The aquarium has many different kind of fish tanks that tourists can come and observe many different kinds of salt water and fresh water creatures. This aquarium does not show only under water creatures, you are able to see polar bears as well as sea lions and warlus. You also can see different kind of snakes, turtles, and lizards in reptiles section. Also there is a touch section which the staff allows you to touch sea urchins, starfish, and sea plants. It has a huge fish tank that has a tunnel of thick transparent acrylic fabric that you can go under the fush tank and observe thousands of fish swimming all arond. You also can see on top of the fish tank when you go up to upper level of the buiding. Aquarium du Québec is actually an aquarium with countless of fish but there are other animals that give you great opportunity to learn about and to take a look at them for educational purpose. This offers a discount for primary and secondary students only, not college students, unfortunately.

We came to the aquarium when we arrived in Québec City from St-Félicien, QC (A four hour trip has been made!) Matt would love to see different kind of fish as well as touching starfish. Some sea creatures looked icky for me to touch them but it was fun to watch how to interact with creature; of course, those aquarium goers were supervised by staff at the hands-on section. It was fun to see those fish and cute sea lions! The only section that I refused to go is where the snakes were, sadly, I don't like them. Overall, we had fun to see many different kinds of creatures! Those photos were taken by Matt with his professional camera.
