When you enter the zoo, you can see a huge dome you are actually under it and see those birds flying around! This zoo contains only small to medium-sized creatures you can see such as monkeys, parrots, penguins, sea gulls, bats, and many different kinds of fish.

The zoo has a few different sections where animals go together, there is a rain forest, Acadian forest, Arctic, cave, and aquarium. You should go to the rain forst section because it has a must-see largest rodent in the world which is called capybara. This zoo has at least two of them for a compangion, they are plant eater and they are as big as a pig but they have the ressemblance of guinea pigs but only bigger and all brown.

Biodôme de Montréal is not the place of zoo, it has other things to see. There is an Insectarium, Planetarium, and Botanical Garden.

This place offers a student discount and a discount if you are resident of the province of Québec with valid driver's license. This place would be a good for your educational opportunity. The place isn't expensive to visit and the price can be lowered only if you are a student.

This place is the awesome one that you should go, I have seen those cute capybara - I have guinea pigs at home and what amazed me that capybaras look alike guinea pigs but only HUGE! I wish I could come and pet them. Matt have done his project about researching on river otters, he could not find any in Rochester, NY for taking a picture but he found one at the zoo in Montréal after the school quarter ends, oh well... What made me so flattered, I have never been that flattered in my whole life! I was like, "WOW I feel so awesome!" When I came to the cashier that we could buy tickets for the admission, the price for adults is (in CAD) $17.75 without student discount, with student discount, it is $13,50 with a proof of student ID. I was expecting $13,50 without tax, I asked for three tickets - I was speaking only French (I actually refuse to speak English in Québec because I have a lot of respect for those people.) So the cashier gave us three tickets, all $11.25 each because of students and residents of Québec... We didn't show our Québec driver's license and we didn't EVEN LIVE THERE BUT WE GOT THAT DISCOUNT!!! OH I could thank for discount, and I am way graceful for knowing French that other people would assume that I am Québécois. WHOO! I felt great! Anyway, you should go to the zoo, there are many animals to see. The cost per person isn't expensive and try your best to speak French fluently for getting more discount. Haha. Those photo were taken by Matt, Sam, and me.
