The zoo contains many open spaces for free range wildlife. Some different species can share in the same site, i.e jackrabbits can interact with woodchucks as long as they will not interfere each others. The zoo contains over 100 different kind of animals in categories of mammals, birds, fish and reptiles. Some animals are imported from other side of the planet, tigers and Japanese macaques (monkey species) are the must-see animals. You can ride on a train to enormous land of free range wildlife (Wapitis, moose, mountain goats, whitetail deer and many more!)

The zoo does offer a discount for primary, secondary and college students and this is a great educational opportunity for everyone! Being there the earliest (be there when it opens) is the better chance for you to walk around the whole zoo with the cost of your visit. Here are the complete lists of animals with full descriptions that you should see at the zoo.
